This page explains what personal data Luminal Investment Review collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the framing of Taiwan's 個人資料保護法 (Personal Data Protection Act, PDPA). We do not run analytics or third-party tracking on this site.

What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to send an inquiry through the contact form:
- Name — so we can address our reply to you.
- Email address — so we can send the reply.
- Phone (optional) — only if you choose to provide it, as an alternative contact channel.
- Subject and message — the content of your inquiry.
We also store your consent choice for the cookie banner in your own browser, under the key lir_consent_v1. This is stored locally on your device and never sent to us.
Purposes and legal basis
Under the PDPA, we process inquiry data for the specific purpose of responding to your editorial inquiry. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not share it with third parties.
Where the data goes
Your inquiry is sent by your browser, as JSON, to a handler on this same domain (/api/inquiry). The handler is operated by the collecting entity named above. The data is used only to reply to you. It is not sent to any third-party service, advertising network, or analytics provider — because none of those run on this site.
Retention
We keep inquiry data only for as long as is necessary to respond to your inquiry and to keep a reasonable record of that correspondence. Once that purpose is served, the data is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it is inaccurate.
- Request deletion of your inquiry data.
- Withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

No analytics, no tracking
